  17. The K95+ shrinkwrap drought is over.  All outstanding orders will be
  18. handled promptly, and all new orders will be filled promptly.  This is
  19. Kermit 95 1.1.20 (the current version) in exactly the same package as
  20. before:

  25. former skyline.

  27. K95 2.00 is on its way, but we still have to make ends meet in the
  28. meanwhile, so be sure to order early and often.  Remember, owning the
  29. current version gets you a free upgrade to 2.00 (which might very well
  30. carry a price increase) so there's no need to wait.

  32. Those of you who downloaded the demo and were waiting for something
  33. tangible to materialize before registering it... now's your chance
  34. (remember, the demo expires at the end of December).

  36. To be perfectly candid, I'm not thrilled with the results of the trial
  37. download.  As soon as it was announced, our orders dropped to 10% of
  38. their former rate.  Was this a coincidence explained by the crashing
  39. economy and the events of September 11th?  Or was it because people were
  40. waiting until they could receive a package upon registration?  I hope
  41. the latter.  Otherwise, I'm not keen on repeating the experiment in
  42. future.  But let's hope for the best, in which case future downloads
  43. are expected to feature 1-click installation, 1-click registration,
  44. and other modern conveniences.
